Static Unrest (I) can be seen as the sonic inception of a research that through exploration of time, repetition and chance slowly opens up to concerns around technologies, control, presence and memory.

The concepts and effects of static and unrest are allowed to co-exist in the oxymoron of the title while also being allowed to remain opposites. regiment seeks to open the work to possibilities of becoming, multiplicity, contradiction and tension. If the title remains the same through the series, the medium is changing - in static unrest.
